When you place a Locker Beef order with RLCB, your animal begins the finishing process (90-120 days). Pasture finished (organic corn supplement) beef is available year-round. Grass finished (no corn) is available only in the Fall. Visit our FAQ section to learn more. You can choose a pick up location for your Locker Beef order on the Colorado Front Range or have it shipped to your door!

You can expect roughly the following ratios of cuts:

10-13% high end steaks, may include- T-Bone, New York, Rib, Sirloin, or Tenderloin.

7-8% tenderized steaks, may include- Sirloin Tip, Flank, or Round.

30-33% roasts, ribs etc., may include- Chuck Roast, Rump Roast, English Rib Roast, Pikes Peak Roast, Short Ribs, Brisket, Stew Meat, or Soup Bone.

48-51% ground beef, 1 Lb. packages.

VALUE: Our Locker Beef competes with grocery store beef prices. Given the percentages above, the 1/8 Beef at $7.25/Lb is comparable to purchasing steak at $12/Lb, tenderized cuts at $7/Lb, roasts and ribs at $7.50/Lb, and ground beef at $5.50/Lb.

Here's how it works:

• You designate a pickup location or shipment location and make a down payment with your online order. Delivery dates depend on order volumes, weather, and cattle ready for harvest but will usually be once every couple months.

• Once the animal is processed, our team will email you to set up a date and time for pickup and invoice the remaining balance.

• The remaining balance can be paid by check at pickup or online (before pickup). Payment must be made before a home delivery.

• If you cancel your order before your Locker Beef ships, the deposit is non-refundable

HOME DELIVERY

How Long?

1. SUBMIT ALL ORDERS BY 5pm FRIDAY- ORDER WILL SHIP MONDAY. Orders submitted after 5pm on Friday will roll to the following Monday.

2. Find your state and "Area" on the map below. We ship to the lower 48. If you are UPS Ground in the 1-Day Area expect your shipment on Tuesday, the 2-Day Area arrives Wednesday etc. If your area is 2nd-Day Air please email us.

3. Holiday season shipping takes longer. We cannot ship to 3-Day Ground Areas over the holidays.

4. We verify that orders will arrive in 1-3 days before shipment. UPS does not deliver on Saturday. If your order does meet the deadline or fit the 3 day delivery window, we will roll it over to the next week. If we need to adjust your shipment service due to weather, transit time, or box weight we'll let you know. You will receive a fulfillment and tracking notice by email after the order is shipped. UPS 3 Day Select is only available seasonally.

How Much?

1. We use flat rate shipping on all single box orders. A shipping discount will applied to multiple box orders.

2. Shipping rates are listed in the table below for single item orders.

3. Shipping totals will appear at checkout

4. Typical shipping weights vary depending on the season, type of refrigerant, and boxes

5. Locker Beef is only available by UPS Ground within the 3-day transit areas
